Bucksport Bay brings together the best of coastal and inland Maine. Bucksport is less than an hour’s drive to some of Maine’s most beloved coastal treasures—like Bar Harbor, Camden, and Blue Hill.

We’re also within 30 minutes of the shopping hubs of Bangor, Brewer, and Ellsworth. And for skiing enthusiasts, we’re only two hours from Squaw, Sunday River, and Sugarloaf Mountains. For more information on the numerous area attractions surrounding Bucksport, contact the Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Some treasures, like the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery, the oldest salmon hatchery in the nation in neighboring East Orland, aren’t much more than a stone’s throw away.

In the Spring of 2002, Bucksport broke ground for a new cultural arts center, which will draw national talent to its 500-seat auditorium. For more information on this and other cultral events in and around Bucksport, contact Bucksport Area Cultural Arts Society (BACAS).
